Carnival de Cuba beats the Credit Crunch — free entry and great food!

So forget the Credit Crunch and come to Southwark Park this weekend - the sun is set to shine, the Mojitos will jiggling in the glass, the bbqs sizzling, Cuba's hottest band - Charanga Habanera - will be playing along with top Cuban and Latin acts - come along! Headliner Charanga Habanera to play both days - Papo Record, Leximan, Sola Akinbola, Sugar Kings, Guillermo Davis, Homero, Lazaro Lopez and Moe Flex on the live music and dance stage - Telmary and Eminencia won't be with us due to passport and visa problems - no fun fair either due to problems with the operator, but there's free carnival face painting, drumming and dance workshops for the kids - bring them along!
